Understanding the Kakobuy order flow takes the mystery out of your first haul. Once you know how items travel from cart to warehouse, through QC, and into a kakobuy shipping parcel, everything else feels easy. This is the friendly, step-by-step map to keep bookmarked.
1. Cart & Purchase
The order flow begins when you submit paid item requests. Kakobuy places the order on your behalf and monitors seller confirmation. If a seller is slow or out of stock, staff will reach out for a substitute.
2. Warehouse Arrival
Each item ships from the seller to Kakobuy’s consolidation warehouse. Arrival times vary from 2 to 10 days depending on the seller’s location. Your dashboard updates automatically when items check in.
3. Free Basic QC
Every item gets a basic quality control review. Staff photograph the exterior, tags, and any obvious flaws. This is your first chance to review — read our QC finder guide for what to look for.
4. Optional Advanced QC
For a small fee, you can request an advanced QC with more photos, video, or size measurements. Recommended for:
- High-value items like watches and bags.
- Fragile items like glasses or perfume.
- Items you plan to gift or resell.

5. Approve or Reject
After QC, you can approve the item for shipping, request re-photos, or reject it for a refund. Rejections are usually easy when the QC photos clearly show the defect.
6. Submit Shipping Request
Once all items are approved, submit a shipping request. Confirm your delivery address, choose your line, and add any packing notes (“remove boxes,” “vacuum-seal clothing”). See our packing tips for real savings.
7. Weigh, Pack & Quote
Warehouse staff repack your items and generate a final shipping quote based on actual and volumetric weight. Apply a shipping coupon here before paying.
8. Pay & Ship
Once payment lands, your parcel enters the outbound queue. Tracking activates within 24–48 hours. Delivery time depends on the line — read our kakobuy shipping lines guide to set expectations.
9. Customs & Delivery
Your parcel goes through customs in your country. Small hauls usually pass without duty; larger hauls may incur import fees. Kakobuy provides all customs paperwork automatically.
10. Unbox & Enjoy
The final step is the best one. Open the parcel, compare each item to your QC photos, and take pictures for social media if that’s your thing. Any missing items should be reported within 7 days.
